Vendors Tamara and Kerry Smith bought the home in September 2012 and got stuck in to renovating the property. Marketing agent Loren Mulholland of Ray White Redcliffe said 25 groups had inspected the home.“The overwhelming consensus was they liked that they could move straight in,” she said. “They liked the size of the block, the big home and the quality of the renovation.”Ms Mulholland said she was seeing a trend of both investors and owner-occupiers preferring Margate properties that didn’t require work. “They don’t want a project. And they tend to be the over sixties as well as young families coming back to the area with primary school children,” she said.
